Richmond, Nemaha County has no remains and is now a ghost town. However it is reputedly a good place to hunt using metal detectors.
Richmond was once a way-station approximately three miles north of Seneca on the Oregon Trail, along the South Fork of the Nemaha River. It was an important stopping point along the road, but died out when traffic was later rerouted through Seneca.
